I think that the truth is that we just don’t know what we don’t know. That’s what we need to remember.
I mean we can be wrong, and we can be right, and we can be a little bit of both, but if we aren’t living the life we want to, we are missing out on something. This is why I think we need to learn how to be better at knowing what we don’t know.
The first step is to stop making assumptions. Thats all I know, and I wish I knew what I know now.
In our current culture it’s easy to assume that we know all that we need to know about the world. We’ve all been taught things like, “if you’re not doing this, then you’re lazy,” and, “if you’re not doing that, you’re bad.” Thats not good enough though. This is not the time to be making sweeping generalizations.

In the olden days, when people were told what they needed to know, they did the “learning” method. It was easier because it was not nearly so overwhelming.
If you’re still reading this post, the olden days of generalizations, like the one about the need to know more, are gone. Not so long ago, as a general rule, it was difficult to generalize, because you just couldn’t tell what was in your own mind or what was in others’ minds. Today, thanks to the internet, we can be much more selective.
That said, you still need a general purpose to learn. The best way to learn is to try to do it all – as long as you don’t get too stuck on one particular area. The internet has made it easier to learn by filtering out the noise, so you can concentrate on your target. You can learn from other people, read books, watch videos, even just watch the news. As you learn more, the need to generalize will wain.
The internet is a great tool, but it does require a lot of discipline to use. You need to be willing to do a lot of work to be successful. But once you’re not distracted by the latest video, you can concentrate on learning the subject that interests you. In my previous life, I was a high school teacher. I taught in all of the subjects, and I did my best to break up the subject into small, bite-sized pieces.
I’m not going to lie, it’s a lot of work. I’ve been teaching myself for almost 2 years now, and after a lot of trial and error I have a good enough understanding of the subject that I can teach it to others. I’ve only taught one class a week for the past year, so I have only been able to teach myself the basic concepts.
